We are not trying to be the biggest pet shop in the northern emirates. We are trying to be the one you trust with a question before you have spent any money.
How this started
Eleven years on Al Muntasir Road
We opened in 2015 as an aquatics only shop, a single room of tanks, pumps and a back wall of quarantine systems that took longer to build than the shop front did. Ras Al Khaimah did not have anywhere that took the water seriously, and that was the whole idea. Test before you sell, quarantine before the shelf, tell people when the tank is wrong for the fish they want.
Customers kept asking the same question on their way out the door: did we sell dog food, did we know anything about hamsters, could our cat drink from something other than a bowl she had decided to hate. In 2019 we built the second room and brought in a team who actually knew dogs and cats, rather than bolting a pet aisle onto an aquatics shop and hoping.
Nothing about the standard changed when we did that. We still refuse sales we think are wrong, and we still run water tests for free at the counter, whether the fish came from us or not.
What we do differently
Four things we will not cut corners on
None of these make the till ring faster. All of them are why people come back with their second tank, or their first dog.
Quarantine before the shelf
Fish sit in our own system for 10 to 21 days depending on species. Nothing goes out on the day it lands.
We will refuse a sale
If the tank is too small, the water is not cycled or the household is wrong for the animal, we say so and we do not sell.
Free water testing, always
Bring a sample any time. We run ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, KH and GH while you wait, whether you bought the fish here or not.
Our own van, our own people
Livestock never goes on a third party courier. Insulated crates, fixed routes, and a number you can call mid delivery.
