Live animals
Listed with the care
notes first, and never
sold through a basket.
There is no add to basket on this page and no card payment for anything living. You read what the animal needs, you message us, and a person answers. We ask about the tank or the room, we say what we honestly think, and the handover happens at the counter in Al Nakheel. Supplies get delivered. Animals do not.

How we place animals
Four steps, and none of them are a checkout
The same order every time, whether it is eight neon tetras or a puppy on a waitlist.
- 01
You send the enquiry
Every listing has a WhatsApp button that arrives with the animal and its current availability already written into the message. No form, no account, no waiting on email. It lands on the phone behind the counter and gets answered during shop hours, usually inside the hour.

We ask the awkward questions
How large is the tank and how long has it been running. What does your nitrite read. Who is home during the day, and who takes the dog out at six in the morning in August. It is not a test. It is how we stop an animal coming back to us in three months.
- 03
Quarantine finishes before anything is offered
Fish sit in our own system for 10 to 21 days depending on species, treated and watched, before they go on the shelf. Puppies and kittens stay with the breeder until they are old enough, microchipped, vet checked and through their first vaccinations.

Handover happens at the counter
You collect in person. We bag with oxygen for the drive or crate for the car, then walk you through the first fortnight before you leave: acclimatising, feeding, what normal looks like and what does not. Supplies get delivered. Animals never do.
The honest bit
What will make us refuse a sale
This costs us sales most weeks and we have made our peace with it. If we say no, we will tell you exactly what would change the answer, and we will hold the animal while you sort it out.
Have us check your setup first- The tank has not finished cyclingBring a water sample, we will test it free whether you bought the tank here or not. If nitrite is reading anything above zero we hold the fish until it is not.
- The housing is too small for the animalA betta in anything under 20 litres, an oranda in a bowl, two Syrian hamsters in one cage, a 28cm wheel replaced by the 18cm one that came in the box. We will show you what the right kit costs before you decide.
- Nobody in the house has agreed to itAnimals bought as a surprise gift are the ones we most often see returned. If the person who will be feeding it is not in the conversation, we would rather you came back with them.
- The daily reality does not fitA golden retriever in a flat with nobody home for ten hours. A Persian in a house with no time for daily brushing. A discus tank for someone who has never held a stable one. We will say so plainly and suggest something that does fit.
